'A thoroughly enjoyable stay, beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast and two wonderful days in the MGB - perfect!'

Kennels Cottage Bed and Breakfast Scotland
A fresh, stylish former gamekeeper’s cottage, recently renovated, white walls, soft white sofas, the odd splash of gold, and light airy bedrooms all go to create a calm, peaceful atmosphere. Alistair Sawday’s Special Places to Stay guide describes Kennels Cottage as “perfect”. Guests have use of their own sitting room and reading area. Breakfast is sourced locally using organic and free range products wherever possible. We use environmentally friendly cleaning products as much as we can. Set in one acre of pretty gardens full of wild birds, roe deer in the neighbouring fields, pheasants in the woods and the rest of Scotland on your doorstep to explore.
Kennels Cottage, one of the best bed and breakfasts in the area and the perfect escape to the country.

The perfect location
We are situated just outside Dollar near Stirling ("Gateway to the Highlands"), and are perfectly located to explore many of Scotland’s historic sites and breathtaking countryside. The Trossachs and Loch Lomond are only an hour away or head for the sea along pretty coastal roads through quaint fishing villages like Crail and Anstruther. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth, St Andrews, Falkirk and Pitlochry are all within easy reach, as is the Rosyth ferry terminal and we are only six miles from Knockhill Race Circuit and a few minutes walk from Solsgirth House.

Classic Car Hire and Classic Car Breaks
Classic car hire, unique to Kennels Cottage. At Kennels Cottage we can also offer classic cars to hire for the day, weekend, week or any number of days you require. Our fleet includes, E-Type Jaguar, MKII Jaguar, Austin Healey, Triumph TR6, MGB Roadster, Morgan 4/4 and two matching convertible beetles. Scotland is a driving heaven – open roads where traffic jams become a distant memory and your time off becomes a perfect hassle free getaway. We have fully inclusive classic car breaks or we can tailor a package to suit your requirements and itinerary.

We have created the perfect two day classic car break, ‘The Mini Tour of Scotland Package’, featured in the Times. Our mini tour allows you to discover Scotland from behind the wheel of one of our classic cars, enjoying first class accommodation and hospitality at Kennels Cottage. We can arrange taxi transfers from Airports and train stations; we can book dinner for you at our local restaurant and we have prepared detailed one day itineraries that show you Scotland at its spectacular best. So all you have to do is arrive in Scotland and we take care of the rest.
